We regularly hold exam sessions with both the NATD (National Association of Teachers of Dancing) and the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing). These are for dancers of all abilities as the tests are graded from beginner level to advanced, providing a structured progression to help build confidence and improve your dancing ability.
In addition, for those looking to take their dancing more seriously we offer a range of graded examinations through the ISTD which are approved by Ofqual (these are equivalent to GCSE and A level qualifications).
We are also an ISTD Registered Dance Centre which is a status awarded by the ISTD to independent schools in recognition of their ability to deliver regulated teaching qualifications. This approval process is to ensure they meets the standards of the ISTD and the Regulators (Ofqual, DfES, CCEA).
Professional Training
If you are an experienced dancer already and want to further your knowledge, with a view to becoming a teacher of dance, then we can offer training up to Fellowship level in the ISTD, NATD and IDTA in Ballroom, Latin American, Sequence, Line Dancing and Alternative Rhythms.
