Testimonials

I started having dance lessons with Robert at the Duesbury Aldred Dance Centre about four years ago after attending his evening salsa dance class. My boyfriend began lessons with Louise after taking an interest from watching me take part in dance competitions. We now both have ballroom, latin and sequence dancing lessons and enjoy progressing through the medal levels and competition events.

We both feel that Duesbury Aldred Dance Centre is as much a family as it is a dance school and value the friends we have made and experiences we have had since joining the school. Robert and Louise have created a very positive, friendly and encouraging environment in which to learn to dance, where everyone helps each other through the highs, lows and tricky steps!

Learning to dance has improved our self confidence, fitness and through dancing and competing together in a shared interest we feel it can only have strenghtened our relationship.

We feel that Robert and Louise are successful in adapting their teaching at a pace and style that gets the best out of us and we are confident that we are being taught to a very high standard.

We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Duesbury Aldred Dance Centre to anyone wishing to learn to dance as everyone is made welcome.

I have been dancing with Louise for the past 20 years. She has taken me from my first dance lesson all the way through to completion of my amateur ballroom and latin exams. On the way my mother and sister have joined the journey. It's a fun common interest for us and a great excuse for us to spend time together in our otherwise busy lives! We've also made some other friends along the way due to a great sense of community within the school. Throughout my learning i have always been encouraged to be the best dancer I can be, and always at a pace which has suited my needs. I would not be where i am today without Robert and Louise's great tuition and support. I would recommend this dance school to anyone.

We came to dancing as complete newcomers and feel very lucky to have found Duesbury Aldred Dance Centre. We needed teachers who would have lots of dance knowledge as well as lots of patience with us, and that’s what we found in Robert and Louise. The teaching here is first class, and dancing along with friends, is a joy.

We never expected to do as much dancing as we are now doing. At first we were only prepared to take private lessons, then we started to enjoy dancing socially, then we did medals and eventually competitions, opportunities for all these being provided by the school, and we love it!

Dawn and Andy Parkinson.
